Farewell to ZCore. Welcome to Skarn.
To our community,
Today, we say farewell to ZCore and welcome Skarn Protocol. We close an important chapter in our journey with gratitude for everything we have built and for everyone who has been part of this story.
ZCore brought together a community willing to explore, learn, and build. Every contribution, every challenge we faced, and every step along the way shaped the experience we carry forward. Saying farewell to this name means recognizing its value and its place in our history.
This farewell accompanies a strategic change for the ecosystem. We want to bring fresh energy, renew our direction, and prepare the project for the opportunities emerging as technology evolves.
The advancement of artificial intelligence played a decisive role in this choice. Autonomous agents, digital humans, and new forms of interaction have broadened the possibilities for applications and introduced new needs around identity, digital ownership, and coordination. We believe this landscape called for a new protocol, with a vision focused on the convergence of artificial intelligence and blockchain.
With this direction in mind, we welcome Skarn Protocol. The new identity brings together our experience and renewed ambition for the future of the ecosystem. Familiar EVM tools are part of this foundation as we make room for developers, creators, and the community to take part in this new chapter.
The name changes, and the history that brought us here stays with us. The community remains at the heart of the project: people give technology its purpose and turn a vision into something we can build together.
All ZCore validators become Skarn Protocol validators. They remain part of the ecosystem and continue to participate in this new phase of the protocol.
ZCore tokens will be exchanged for Skarn Protocol tokens through a swap, following the exchange schedule announced in the ZCore community. To complete the swap, token holders should follow the ZCore community on Telegram, where the schedule, instructions, and next steps will be shared.
On , the dashboard and Skarn community will open. The official launch of Skarn Protocol will take place on , with mainnet activation. We will continue sharing the next steps through the project’s channels.
